ellipticals need tv's
None of the ellipticals at Union Square have tv's. Only the treadmills do. Are they planning on putting these in at some point? If not they definitely should. Especially since they already have the remote control and headphone hook ups.

Make a phone hotline for people to call in for schedules
I am based in NYC, and when I was in LA I was psyched you could call the gym's main number and have a reading over the phone of that day's class schedule. I can't always get ot a computer, and would love to have access to that data while I am on the go.

Add videos of your classes to the site planned
I travel 20 weeks out of the year. Mostly to LA and Miami where Crunch is located but a few other cities Crunch isn't located. I think you should offer the option to watch or download videos of you yoga classes.

I would like to be able to suggest classes for my gym location. Some of the fun classes I would like to take are not offered at my location, but if they were, I would definitely attend.

Allow members to customize the site based on preferences
I would like to complete a basis profile hoping that Crunch would use that information to communicate relevant information. I don't take the group fitness classes and don't need emails informing me about new classes.

make applications for locker rentals available on line.
I have been frustrated in my attempts to rent a locker. I visit the gym 4 or 5 times a week and it is a pain to lug my stuff back a forth every day. And I can't get a consistent answer from the counter staff as to the status of locker rentals...there's either a waiting list or a moratorium on new rentals.

Include a feature so I can pay my bill online planned
Just incase I miss a payment and receive the email from the billing department. It's happened a few times... Online payment and statement reminders would help me stay on schedule.

email to members
I read that Crunch was doing events related to the Summer Streets program http://www.nytimes.com/2008/08/10/nyregion/10closed.html?ref=nyregion . How about an email to notify about events like this?
We try to reach out to our members with notifications related to their accounts, special events, promotions, etc. However, we try not to inundate them with various emails. Another way to keep up with current Crunch events is to join our Facebook group or visit our site under the Events and Special Promotions. Thanks for you suggestion.

Start a feature that tells me if the gym is busy planned
I can go to the gym at anytime because I don’t have job. I would like to know if the gym is super busy before showing up. Maybe you can add a rank or something. This would work wonders for your Union Square location.
This feature is a brilliant suggestion that can be executed quickly and is uncomplicated to manage. We haven’t decided if we should implement this idea on our existing website or included this element in the redevelopment scheduled for later in the year. We may be able to set up member notifications when a certain location is over or under a desired occupancy level. Another option is to creatively display the “traffic” rating on our clubs pages and on a mobile friendly site. Which you would prefer?

I jump from gym to gym and take all your classes. A mobile site would allow me to get information when I need it.
We love this suggestion and see how it could add value to our member experience. We are discussing which features should be accessible on a mobile friendly site to add the most "on the go" value. We are open to suggestions regarding mobile features and functions. Just select the comment link below.

Have bios of all of the trainers at each location online
When I first signed up my biggest goal was to get a trainer that was hard on me and didn't let me give up on myself. I signed up with the first trainer that spoke with me because he said he would be hard on me, but we ended up goofing off more than working out some days and $1250 and two months later, I haven't even come close to meeting my goals and definitely won't be wearing a swim suit this year. Total waste of money.

subscribe to news and events for a location via RSS feed planned
We agree that an RSS feed would help keep our members up to date on gym news such as events, schedule changes, new classes, etc. This feature will definitely be apart of the new site. Other ways we intend to achieve this goal is by introducing SMS text messages to members who consent to this form of communication and to continue with targeted emails.
