Me as well. Once you join, your price should be "locked in", not go up every year. I know a lot of people were put off when Crunch took over Park Slope Fitness and jacked up the price about $20-30. They didn't offer any discount or incentive for people to stay.

I think that if you just asked the staff at your gym, they would probably be happy to do that for you.
